Hodsock Priory has been on my bucket list for a number of years now, so when Berangere and Peter reached out to me about being their wedding photographer I couldn’t have been more thrilled.

Set in 800 acres of countryside on the border of Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire. The venue itself is steeped in history and dates right back to the 12th Century. The main thing that will strike you about Hodsock Priory is the sheer beauty of the place. The natural beauty of the gardens that surround you are a photographers dream.

The wedding day itself was on one of the wettest weekends of the year. As I drove a short distance from home, I wondered if there would ever be a break in the weather? Fortunately the rain clouds parted just as the ceremony had finished, which enabled me to make the most of this amazing venue.

If you are planning a wedding at Hodsock Priory in the future then please feel free to get in touch. I’d love to hear your plans.
