Jade & David’s Wedding set in the beautiful grounds of Wentworth Woodhouse.
My day started by meeting David at his house in Outerbridge. As I arrived I could see a procession of highly polished Super Cars waiting to take David and his groomsmen to Wentworth Church. I did however have time to take a few shots of everybody getting ready before we all departed. It was a hot August day, perfect for getting married, and the grounds of Wentworth Woodhouse made for a spectacular setting.
Weddings at Wentworth Woodhouse are nothing but spectacular. A hidden historic giant just off the M1 at Junction 36 towards the Birdwell roundabout. You and your guests are first greeted on the day with the view of the striking East front façade, a view that all will remember for decades to come. Wentworth has been host to many members of royalty throughout its history, but on your wedding day you take the place of the most important people to grace the house.
We were given permission to go deep into the grounds to take some fun group shots, before the celebrations got underway in a specially made marque, that was to become a hub of activity for the rest of the day.
A full wedding breakfast followed, with some excellent speeches. The night ended with live music from a Robbie Williams tribute act, with some some energetic dancing. Big congratulations to the newlyweds, Jade & David.
Here are a selection of my favourite shots from a truly amazing day.
