YOUR PHOTOGRAPHIC JOURNEY

LETS BEGIN

Picking the right Wedding Photographer for you is an important decision. Once the wedding is over these photos will hold all those memories and key moments. There are thousands of photographers in the UK, so how do you go about choosing a photographer for your special day?

Wedding photography for me is a series of unforgettable moments
stitched together with one very simple goal, to tell the story of you and your day. My approach to each wedding is different, as no two weddings are the same. I try my best to tell each story in a unique way.

You should leave this page with a good idea of my style, how the booking process works and what to expect on the day!

01. STYLE

My documentary approach ensures that all of your photographs will be captured in an unobtrusive and personal manner. This will remain consistent, right from the early preparation time spent with the bride and groom, throughout the day and right up until the first dance and evening reception. Explore my portfolio to get a feel for my style.

02. FIND THE RIGHT PACKAGE

Finding the right photographer is one thing, but what else should you expect? All of my couples will receive the following:

  • COVERAGE MORNING THROUGH TO YOUR FIRST DANCE

  • HIGH RESOLUTION IMAGES READY TO PRINT AND SHARE WITH YOUR FAMILY

  • PRE-CONSULTATION BEFORE THE BIG DAY

  • PASSWORD PROTECTED ONLINE GALLERY FOR ONE YEAR

  • IMAGES DELIVERED ON A USB INSIDE A PRESENTATION BOX

  • FIVE PRINTS TO GET YOU STARTED

03. MAKE SURE YOU CLICK WITH YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER

Choose someone whose work you love. Your wedding photographs will be with you forever. It’s a bit of a cliche, but it’s true – the photographs are the one thing left after your wedding. They will be there to remind you of one of the most important days in your life. I’d also recommend finding someone personable who is going to treat you well and put your interests first. As much as I love wedding photography I’m aware that it is your wedding, not my photo shoot.

04. CONSIDER AN ENGAGEMENT SHOOT

An engagement shoot can actually help you in a few different ways. First, it helps you build a good rapport with your photographer. especially if you’re hiring the same one to document your wedding day. You will feel more comfortable with your photographer and also get to know their shooting style. For me, it’s also the time to get to know more about you as a couple.

05. HAVE AN IDEA OF HOW YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER WORKS ON THE DAY

My passion is for documentary photography and this underpins my style when it comes to weddings.  My approach is simple…I capture everything I see.  You can never be sure, no matter how much meticulous planning has gone into the day, when a great moment is about to happen.  In order to tell the whole story of the day, my camera will always be by my side. I will be ready to record all of the special, planned moments of your day but also to look out for the unique and incidental things, which make your wedding bespoke to you.   My discreet style enables me to capture personalities and impromptu moments, which you may have missed whilst enjoying your day.  This often provides a different perspective for you, taken through my lens.

06. KNOW THE BOOKING PROCESS

After our consultation, I will send you a contract and an invoice for the deposit which is 20% of the package price. Once I have your deposit, your date will be secured. You can now relax knowing that you have an important aspect of your planning done. 6 weeks before your big day I will send you a questionnaire so I can gather the finer details of the day, and will finally request the remaining fee.
